REMOTE Graphic Web & Social Media Intern
Position overview:
Work under the supervision of the Warrick Parks Foundation’s executive director to create materials, social media channels, and an updated website that connects people with the work and impact of the organization and promotes personal engagement of supporters. Create visual concepts using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or a similar program, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate donors. Develops the overall layout and production design for advertisements, invitations, brochures, e-marketing messages, website graphics and corporate reports. This position is responsible for enhancing our internal and external communication to improve how we connect with the Tri-State, the media, and our donors.
This is a three-month internship.
Primary job functions:
Help brainstorm and execute social calendar/blog and WPF media opportunities Assist with deployment of e-mail marketing campaigns Create written content for print, website, and social media Maintain and develop web content for accuracy and relevant information Create original video content by developing fresh story ideas and conducting interviews Produce video content for multiple social platforms Create and distribute media advisories and press releases for news, notifications, and events Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites Maintain the consistency of the Warrick Parks Foundation across channels Work collectively to gather information and program statistics for impact marketing
Position requirements:
Currently working toward a degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines required
Proven organizational, written, verbal and creative skills, with attention to detail and follow through
Experience with journalism, advertising, print and electronic media preferred
Demonstrated skills using MS Office products, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and video editing software
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated; works independently
Ability to utilize social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
REMOTE Nonprofit Management Intern
Position overview:
The nonprofit management intern provides direct support to the executive director of the Warrick Parks Foundation by completing administrative assignments; researching and writing grant documents; preparing reports; communicating with current and potential donors and supporters; and assisting with promotional work for fundraising and community outreach events.
This is a three-month internship.
Position requirements:
Currently working toward a degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines required
Proven organizational, written, verbal and creative skills, with attention to detail and follow through
Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), as well as Wix, data base management and social media tools
Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize workload and meet deadlines. MUST be proactive and detail-oriented
Able and willing to adapt to various duties and be flexible
