It takes a village.

If you are alive and over the age of five-years-old, you have heard the phrase "it takes a village." Most of the time when people say this, they are referring to raising a family. But, when running a nonprofit, it also hits home.

When the Warrick Parks Foundation was formed in January 2020, it took an executive committee's time and effort to launch it followed by a board and many, many volunteers to execute the organization's mission. (Oh, and did we mention this was all during an unprecedented pandemic?)

Now, here we are solidly in year two and we we are shouting from the rooftops that we need you. After listening to community voices, we have added programming and events. These events are to encourage people to visit and enjoy our parks and trails. In order to pull these off, we need volunteers, sponsors, and attendees (that's where you come in!).

Here's the call to action.
